Miami’s vibrant and thriving hip-hop music culture serves as a soundtrack to many lifestyles, backgrounds and stories. In the wake of their critically acclaimed debut mix-tape, ‘Not The Life We Chose‘ South Miami’s Doolie Gang deliberate and vulnerable contribution gives the culture an undertone of transparency rarely seen from young black men; The Gang is not just trying to find their way but are breaking their way in to the Hip-Hop industry; and they’re only in their mid 20’s.
Made up by Johnny Pickles, Yung Stew and Deez Bands, the dynamic yet introverted trio provides a raw and honest peek into their struggles and aspirations in the new visuals for the single ‘Gold‘; directed by Miami creative maven @Applejax84. The track is set to the pulsing and somber productions of @Nixononthetrack ; where the Gang showcase uncommon flows casting a light on their distinctive cadences and individual lyrical qualities. The visuals depict the trio in a united setting, each complimenting the next; a Golden hip-hop collective for the industry to unearth and discover.
